"Thank you for receiving me." He says, looking into her eyes without any hint of judgement or awkwardness. "I wasn't sure you would be up for visitors."

He knows that she's been going through a lot, not just physically but mentally. Prison is the one place where you can't really get away from yourself or your thoughts.
